FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)

What do I bring to class?

Please bring a towel or mat, a water bottle, and a hat.

Note: we want moms and dads with babies or small children in strollers to work out with us.  Please feel free to bring your "jogging" stroller to any of our classes.  We recommend strollers with a single front fixed wheel and two back wheels (tires 12-16 inches) or a stroller that allows you to "lock" the two front wheels in a fixed position.

What should I wear?

Men: athletic shoes (running or walking shoes are preferable - something with a flexible sole), shorts, athletic undergarments, and t-shirt (light colors for summertime).

Women: athletic shoes (running or walking shoes are preferable - something with a flexible sole), shorts, sports bra, and t-shirt.

Hat, sunglasses, and sunblock are also recommended.

What happens if it rains?

Bring a hat!  We meet rain or shine and a hat will keep the rain or sun out of your eyes.  If there are thunderstorms (or hurricane/tropical storm conditions), class will be cancelled.  Please send us an email if you are not sure.

What happens when it is REALLY hot?

We still have class when it is REALLY hot (i.e. over 90 degrees).  Please bring extra water and wear a hat and sunscreen.  We will make sure to take extra water breaks and do more focused resistance training (i.e. focus on abs or arms).  We meet rain or shine and a hat will keep the sun out of your eyes.  If there are thunderstorms (or hurricane/tropical storm conditions), class will be cancelled.  Please send us an email if you are not sure.
