Hi everyone! We've had great turnout at class over the past several weeks and I hope to keep seeing our new faces each week! New class day and time is now Wednesdays from 6-7 PM at Grand Haven Park on the corner of Pineda Causeway Extension and Estuary. Moms and dads can bring their kids to play in the park while we work out. We currently have a nice group of 2-6 children between 2 years and 6 years playing together. Please keep me posted of new moves and routines you'd like for me to incorporate in class. We've been using a blend of Crossfit, P90X, total body circuit training, kettleballs and body weight conditioning. Come out to class in Melbourne, FL for an awesome hour of head to toe fitness!
Super easy for working parents:
-preheat oven to 375 deg F -cube firm tofu -cube yellow squash (or zucchini, brocolli, cauliflower, etc) -Prepare quinoa according to package directions -add vegetables to shallow baking pan - drizzle olive oil, pepper, and pinch salt -cook vegetables in oven for approx 20 min (turn once) -add tofu to saute pan with 2 Tbs olive oil, parsley, pepper, garlic -saute until tofu is golden brown turning to lightly brown all sides -for added zest, add several sundried tomatoes (soaked in olive oil) and a little parmesan cheese Once quinoa is prepared, remove from heat Add 1 serving quinoa, tofu and vegetables to each plate and enjoy! Small group personal training classes (Boot Camps) are held EVERY Monday and Thursday evening from 6-7 PM. We are in the midst of planning a daily class at Viera Regional Park (~9:30 AM Monday through Friday) as well as a third evening class on Wednesdays at 5:30-6:30 PM. Even fitness professionals aren't perfect. For example, today I made a HUGE princess cake for my princess' birthday. Of course I had to have a piece after spending hours in the kitchen making it. And as much as I'd like to try and eat better tomorrow (or not indulge in dessert), I know I will have something. Therefore, I try not to stress about it. Instead, I try to make healthy choices throughout the day and "save" an allotment of calories so that I can indulge in a dessert without feeling guilty.
I also workout almost daily (at least five times a week, sometimes six) - not to mention chasing after a three year old and a baby! In my opinion, even though nutrition is typically 80% of the equation in weight loss/management/maintenance - it is SO important to MOVE YOUR BODY! Take the weekend to do your longer cardio sessions (since hopefully you'll have at least a day off during the weekend!). Do you higher intensity intervals and toning during the week in 30-45 minute bouts. And don't get down on yourself! Everything helps in fitness. Working out is like depositing money in a bank - every additional minute adds to your overall well-being. Welcome to Get Moving! Join us for a small group personal training class that includes cardiovascular, strength, and flexibility training. Classes are suitable for all fitness levels and exercises are tailored to each person. One-on-one and group personal training appointments are also available. Classes are held throughout Brevard County, Florida. We also welcome local businesses, schools, and churches to host a group fitness class onsite.
